A pelvic floor physiotherapist (PFP) is a specialized physiotherapist, registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, trained to assess and treat pelvic floor dysfunction conditions. Our PFPs provide patients with pelvic floor exercises and education based on their individual needs uncovered through a thorough assessment and diagnosis.

The pelvic floor is made up of layers of muscles which work to support our abdominal and pelvic organs, help in bladder, bowel, and sexual function, and make up part of our “core”. A pelvic floor (or pelvic health) physiotherapist is a Registered Physiotherapist with specialized training to treat these specific muscles. We work with you to prepare the pelvic floor for labour + delivery, to restore function and strength after birth, and to achieve your specific goals. We love empowering and educating women on what to expect during pregnancy and beyond. Pelvic floor physiotherapists are trained to work patients through all walks of life who may be experiencing some kind of pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, constipation, and pelvic pain. Please note: These sessions will be held virtually using a secure video platform.

Hello! I am Dr. Cheng. I am an evidence-based Chiropractor, Medical Acupuncture Provider, and Yoga Instructor.

I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and completed an additional certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.

My passion as a practitioner began when I was very young. I always showed an interest in the human body, and felt the drive in my life to help others. I am happy to be able to find a profession that I can do both! After graduation, I dedicated the start of my career volunteering in Tanzania, Africa for 4 months providing chiropractic care in the clinics there before settling back in Toronto.

I treat all muscle, joint, and nerve related issues, but mainly specialize in prenatal, postpartum, pediatric, TMJ, and post-mastectomy care.

Outside of work, I love to travel! I love to stay active by running, hiking, playing sports, and snowboarding.
